Extra, Extra: Daily Kos Rips Off Jeffreydinsmore.com
In a growing scandal that’s engulfing the blogosphere, liberal powerhouse Daily Kos was recently caught peddling phrasology stolen from jeffreydinsmore.com as original thought! In a post written at 2:59 on April 29, Kos contributor DHinMI noted:
Now, however, as Wright goes around the country performing as a caricature of what many white voters will perceive as “The Scary Black Man,” Obama has an obligation to repudiate Wright.
At 12:15 that same day, over half an hour earlier, jeffreydinsmore.com contributor “Jeffrey Dinsmore” wrote:
We who discuss it are never that upset, but we live in constant fear of that silent mass of people out there who may look at the Scary Black Man and decide anyone who associates with him must be some kind of secret Satanist or child murderer.
Not only that, but weeks before, “Jeffrey Dinsmore” had noted the following:
As the interpreters of Gallup see it, last week thousands of Americans saw the clips of the Reverend Wright and said, “Obama knows a scary black guy! I can’t vote for him!”
Clearly, the Internet meme of the Scary Black Man (or Guy) began right here, your home for intrepid political reporting. I hereby call upon Daily Kos to offer a full apology and send their readers in my direction. If anyone is going to take credit for informing the world about Scary Black Guys, it’s going to be me.

(There’s another one for you, DailyKos, you thieving bastards!) [...]
