The Insiduous Palin Strategy
I’ll tell you what they’re doing. They’re setting the bar so low that all she has to do is show up for her speech tonight and be audible for the media to call it a triumph over adversity. Call it the Bush Strategery. If he manages to repeat a sentence that contains a complete subject and predicate, he’s given marks for eloquence. You mark my words … no matter what she says tonight, the media takeaway will be that she’s a “woman of the people.” And at least one commentator tonight will say, “the crowd just loves her.”
