The Exciting Life of a Freelance Writer
The freelance writing world is dead right now, so I’m searching diligently for new clients. I just found this posting on Craig’s List:
Part Time, experienced Channel Editors/Copywriters needed for start up Social Networking Website concerned with Hair Loss Lifestyle. Start Yesterday.
We need Experienced Editors – one editor per section – to manage and edit and develop content for the following categories AS THEY PERTAIN TO HAIR LOSS LIFESTYLE:
Entertainment
Travel
News
Fitness
Health
Fashion
Business
Political / ActivismThis is an outstanding position that will provide you with international exposure on a high traffic, highly ranked website.
I would love to direct you to the website, but they don’t reveal which high-traffic hair loss lifestyle social networking site they represent. Which means it’s probably a hugely popular hair loss lifestyle social networking website that would get deluged with the resumes of inexperienced writers if they released the name.
I’m balding, but I’ve never really considered myself to be part of the hair loss lifestyle community. It’s not that I haven’t tried … I’ve attended meetings here and there and I recently changed my voting registration to the Bald Is Beautiful party … but for whatever reason, they’ve just never accepted me as one of their own. It could be because I shave instead of combing over. Or maybe I failed that Rogain-application field test they gave me. I’ve tried to embrace the lifestyle, but they have refused to embrace me.

I assume it’s because you haven’t properly registered for the social networking site. When you do that they send you instructions for the secret handshake.
